In addition to offering full day meeting facilitation, we like to think of retreats as a way to balance the mind (time to learn, be challenged and stretched), and the body (time to pause, reflect, refuel). Whether it's a leadership team with years of experience or a new team joining, we take care to provide meaningful ways to connect and grow.
Some consider a full day meeting the same as a retreat but we don't! The two are different :-). Our retreats focus on slowing down. We use activities to deepen conversation and trust (don't worry, they won't include anything strenuous or scary like "trust falls"). We also host restorative justice circles for "deeper dives" so that everyone is heard and issues are confronted. It is our goal that you will walk away from one of our retreats having experienced spaciousness, clarity, and restoration. But we don't want the retreat to be a one-time engagement. We have learned from experience that change happens when it is ongoing, feasible, and supported. Therefore, our proposal will include periodic check-ins after the retreat to make sure the experience continues and is strengthened. |
"Over the years, I have worked with many organizational development consultants, and I can honestly say that Jacinta is one of the best. Rather than giving you a cookie cutter program, she custom develops her program to fit your organization and culture. She recently led a retreat for my senior staff and it has already paid dividends in increasing our camaraderie and commitment to common goals." - Lee Garrity, Former Winston-Salem City Manager
