We know that life gets hectic and is filled with stress. Even in the midst of a pandemic, when "normal"busyness falls away, our mind can become full of chatter and worry. 

Meditation helps us become still and quiet. We are able to pause, catch our breath, reset. This act of mindfulness is pivotal in us shifting our thoughts, emotions, and overall well-being so we might show up for ourselves and others in a way that is aligned with who we really are.

​Mindfulness is not about forgetting or not thinking. On the contrary, it is about being present to our thoughts, knowing they are just that. Meditation is a tool of mindfulness as it helps us to concentrate on the present instead of the past or future. 

It's not "foo foo." It's scientifically proven. Meditation and mindfulness help:
- decrease stress
- open the mind for clarity and creativity
- increase joy and inner peace
- ​show empathy 
- feel balanced amidst uncertainty

Mindfulness gives us back the right sense of perspective which allows us to understand, in our existence, what is really important and what is not."
